Donna A. Gollnick, Chief Academic Officer
Dr. Gollnick extensive experience in teacher preparation includes the Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), and the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), where she served as Senior Vice President. She received the Advocate for Justice Award while serving as the Director of Professional Development for the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE) and is the past-president of the National Association for Multicultural Education (NAME). She also taught secondary school in South Bend and Carmel, Indiana. Donna is the co-author of the textbooks, Multicultural Education in a Pluralistic Society and An Introduction to the Foundations of American Education. She holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Purdue University and a Doctorate in Intercultural Education from the University of Southern California.
Richard Feistritzer, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Feistritzer brings a proven 35-year track record in auditing, finance, accounting, and management based on successive promotions with increasing responsibility supported by solid management experience and proven analytical and technical skills. His experience includes a full range of business operations analysis, audit, and financial advisory services. He is also skilled at investigating accounting information systems to remedy internal control problems and implementing systems proven to increase overall efficiency and profitability. Richard’s background includes a solid base of administrative, leadership, project management, technical skills, and training expertise reinforcing continuous personal and professional growth.
Kunali Sanghvi, International Partnerships Associate
Kunali brings twelve years of experience as a senior instructional designer at LearningMate Solutions, Knowledge Horizon E-Learning and Aptara designing innovative online learning solutions for K-12, higher education, professional development and corporations. Prior to her career in instructional design, she worked as a special education teacher and a feature writer for print and online news organizations. Kunali holds a Master’s degree from Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey University, Mumbai, a post-graduate diploma in Journalism and Bachelor’s degrees from St. Xaviar College and the University of Mumbai. She speaks five languages and lives in Bangalore, India.
Greg Garrison, Director of Operations
As a Deputy Chief in the Office of Data and Accountability at DC Public Schools, Mr. Garrison led a team that focused on a variety of uses of data from determining instructional program effectiveness to school performance management. He also managed student assessment data analysis and reporting, and data analysis training for school personnel. While at Accenture, Greg managed federal IT and strategy projects. He has taught math and computer science for Fairfax County Public Schools as well as test prep courses for The Princeton Review. He started his career as a software developer and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Math from Longwood University and a Master’s in Philosophy of Education from the University of Virginia.
André Barnes, Admissions Officer
André’s pilot light has always been narrowing gaps in education. As a first generation graduate from the University of Virginia, he has experienced the trials students face navigating the education system. He clearly understands the importance of highly trained educators to guide students to succeed. His educational background includes the National Student Clearinghouse, Americorps, and a Brazilian study abroad with the Carter G. Woodson Institute. André hopes to utilize his experience in operations management and customer service management to assist TEACH-NOW with system improvements. He is committed to selecting the best educators for tomorrow’s students.
Dan Roggenkamp, Candidate Coordinator
Mr. Roggenkamp has been working in education for over 25 years. He spent many years as in instructor in the public university system of Taiwan, mostly in teacher training programs, and has also taught and served as technical coordinator in high schools in the US and internationally. His interests include language acquisition, communications, and instructional design, interests which are reflected by his BS in telecommunications from Ohio University, MA in TESL/TEFL from San Francisco State University, and MA in Educational Technology from San Diego State University.
Carla J. Garrett, Chief Outside Counselor
Carla is our outside general counsel and has represented TEACH-NOW since its inception. A corporate lawyer with over 20 years’ experience, she currently has her own law firm, Carla J. Garrett, PLC. Previously, she served as General Counsel and Secretary for CoStar Group, Inc., a NASDAQ-listed company in Washington, DC that provides commercial real estate information. Before joining CoStar, Ms. Garrett practiced in the Washington, D.C. office of Sullivan & Cromwell, where she was a corporate and securities attorney, and at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto, California, where she practiced corporate law and advised technology companies. Ms. Garrett received a B.A. in mathematics from Vanderbilt University and her J.D. from Stanford University.
